Astros fall to 0-7

I’m beginning to wonder whether it’s legal to concede the whole season because it’s starting to look like a long, hard slog. Today they had seven hits, all singles, and two walks.

The Astros have been shut out twice now and have scored only 13 runs in seven games. They had five in one inning against the Phillies and four in one inning against the Giants. And only four other runs all season. I believe the runs-allowed total is now 42. Not good, not good at all.

They haven’t led a game. Perhaps they could trade Matt Lindstrom, because if you’re never ahead you don’t need a closer.
