Everybody’s happy in spring training. Lee’s slugging percentage dropped 80 points last year, and his on-base percentage dropped 25 points. The counting stats were OK because he played so many games, but the decline of Carlos Lee has begun.

The last player to have a chance to meet new manager Brad Mills face-to-face was left-fielder Carlos Lee, who reported to Osceola County Stadium early on Wednesday morning for the first full-squad workout after flying in from his native Panama.
