How the playoffs should be structured

I’m not sure I’d be thrilled to see the first round of the playoffs go seven games, although this year’s playoffs had more inactivity than usual. I would like to see the four playoff teams in each league play each other three times, with one team advancing to the World Series. The top-seeded team would get six of the nine games at home, the other teams would get five, four and three. That way you have constant activity and every team would get at least three home playoff games, up from the current minimum of one.
